The large ribbed shades pictured left and below are all originals.
They usually have a large glass dish (diffuser) at the bottom which is secured to the body with a chrome-plated metal band. The diffusers and bands in this size are quite scarce and we have none in stock.
. These shades still make a statement when suspended
'as is' and hence we include them in our gallery.

They measure between 79mm and 82mm across the top opening where the gallery will be attached
and all require a 3-1/4" gallery fitting, which we can supply in bakelite or metal.
They are of smaller dimensions than most of the larger shades pictured on this webpage.

Many of the shapes look wonderful on the Art Deco Diana Lamps & Chandeliers
or provide the finishing touch to a lamp project.
They are also suitable for smaller areas mounted to the ceiling or suspended from a length of electrical cable.

The top opening measures 29mm so will fit a standard bayonet cap (BC) lampholder and bulb.
The top section of this two-piece fitting is a ribbed milk glass coolie shade diameter 230mm (9').
The bottom bowl of ribbed milk glass has a diameter of 155mm (6-1/8").
The bottom bowl is joined to the top shade with three clips each of which is attached to three small lengths of chain, the tops of which are attached to an internal 29mm connection -all of which is held together by a BC lampholder.
