'CRYSTALS' & OTHER CHANDELIER PIECES
Crystals and other bits and pieces for chandelier restorations or other projects etc.
The bulk of the 'crystals' and other pieces pictured on this page are vintage items, gathered and used
during our years of restoration work with old chandeliers.

Whilst these pieces are coded as 'CRYSTAL', it can be difficult to determine
whether these items are made of 'crystal' or 'glass'. Often when dealing with chandeliers,
these decorative drops are usually referred to collectively as 'crystals'.

These crystals are of a lovely quality with a hole top and bottom for attaching pins/wires. Whilst the length is slightly longer than the width, they are octagonal in shape. They have an octagonal flat centrepiece with eight facetted edges surrounding the centre.

The crystal on the left has its little metal loop to attach a pin or wire. This loop seems to be glued on as the one on the right has lost its fixing.

These crystals are a 2-piece wired unit consisting of a teardrop crystal joined to a small hexagonal crystal with a hook at top to attach to chandelier.

This is a rather special piece that can be re-wired (you can see in the photo that the original lampholder is in situ in the main section).
It consists of a decorative upturned flower that will house the light bulb and then clear beads and tubing cover some of the cable and a little glass upturned floral bell completes the piece. Will need a ceiling rose.
